2011 NEWS UPDATE: Great West Life is now offering direct payment to your RMT via HealthSolutions Plus card swiped through a debit/visa terminal. Contact Great West Life to inquire if it is available on your plan.
2009 NEWS UPDATE: Green Shield of Canada will now pay Massage Therapists directly on behalf of their insured customers. This means there is no expense incurred for your visit. Your therapist can bill Green Shield direct for the cost of your treatment. Bring your Green Shield card and your doctor’s referral to your initial appointment.

Those who earn up to $28,000 per year qualify for government premium assistance which allows for a total of 10 treatments per calendar year for Massage Therapy. Also included within these 10 treatments are any Chiropractic and Physiotherapy visits. Ask your therapist to check your coverage for you before your treatment if you are entitled to Premium Assistance through Health Insurance BC.
ICBC & WCB
Our therapists no longer bill to ICBC or WCB.
RCMP & DVA
Pacific Blue Cross will pay your therapist directly for your treatment upon approval with a doctor’s referral.
DVA (Department of Veterans Affairs) has a maximum allowance per calendar year of (usually) $800.
RCMP will pay up to 20 half-hour units per calendar year.
